I wouldn't recommend my hotel - it's right near some kind of traffic calming loudspeaker that manages to be both incomprehensible and loud, going off a random number of times whenever a car goes by. I feel like I'm in an experiment on the effects of inescapable, uncontrollable noise stress. Fortunately I have my noise-cancelling earphones, though they are uncomfortable to sleep in....
So traffic calming causes sleep deprivation. Wonderful.
